About Us
The Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council (BHBCUC) is a non-profit organization established in 1988 to protect the human rights of religious minorities in Bangladesh. Founded by Chitta Ranjan Dutta, the organization advocates for equal rights for all citizens and works with NGOs and governments to achieve its goals.
It remains a significant voice for religious minorities in Bangladesh, with international chapters in North America and Europe. The organization continues to call for government action to protect minority rights and end discrimination.
We consistently speak out against discrimination, violence, and human rights violations targeting religious minorities through press releases, statements, and public rallies. We monitor incidents of violence and discrimination against religious minorities and reports these to relevant authorities and the public.
