Elderly Hindu freedom fighter couple found slaughtered in Rangpur
A Hindu freedom fighter and his wife have been found slaughtered in their house in Rangpur's Taraganj.
Deceased Jogesh Chandra Roy, 75, a freedom fighter and a retired school teacher, and his wife Suborna Roy, 60, residents of Uttar Rahimapur area under Kursha union.
Local people said the couple's two sons-- elder one is in Jaypurhat and younger one is working in Dhaka.
Taraganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer visited the scene on Sunday morning.
